Dissolve Creators: Hiring & Job Board
2022 - 2023
Product Design · UX Strategy · Research · QA
The Dissolve Creators hiring & job board was designed to connect filmmakers, editors, designers, and other creatives with clients and collaborators. The initiative stemmed from a broader goal to foster a more accessible and supportive creative community, one that prioritizes visibility, opportunity, and connection within the Dissolve ecosystem.
As the Product Designer on this project, I worked closely with developers and leadership, translating the vision and community needs into a clear, usable platform. I shaped the structure, UX direction, and content layout, ensuring the experience felt intuitive while supporting both creators and those looking to hire them. The result was a focused, functional space designed to make discovery and opportunity easier to navigate.

How might we design a platform that makes it easier for creatives to be discovered and hired, while building a more connected creative community?
The challenge
Each UX/UI project I take on follows a structured, iterative process.
The process moves from defining the problem and user needs through to ideation, design, development, and refinement. It remains flexible, evolving through feedback to create thoughtful, user-centered outcomes.
Based on experience and business objectives, it’s not uncommon to adapt or move between stages, particularly within fast-paced, agile environments.
My approach
Design process
The design process began by wireframing the workflow of the jobs and services directory, how listings would appear on user profiles, and the experience of adding a job or service. Early exploration into existing creative job board (Dribbble, Behance, etc.) surfaced friction in how creatives showcased their work and how employers posted or discovered opportunities.
Our team investigated a recurring question:
Should jobs and hiring exist within a single unified experience or be kept as separate spaces?
Low-fidelity wireframes were used to test navigation, filtering, and visibility for both talent and hiring teams.
From there, I defined key user flows such as: browsing talent, posting a role or service, reviewing profiles, and submitting roles or services.
Profile previews, job cards, and interaction states were designed to align with the broader Dissolve ecosystem while prioritizing clarity, credibility, and ease of use.
Wireframing & prototyping
Design process
After the initial designs were completed, I conducted user testing with a group of creatives to identify any gaps or weak points. After applying their feedback and making the necessary adjustments, I began refining the UI and styling to ensure everything aligned consistently with the style guide.
The below screenshots are showing, in order:
job directory page > sort by feature, filters that can be applied
service & job listing tiles > styling specs and hover feedback
empty jobs tab on creator profile > styling, prompt for posting, blog, how-to guides
filled jobs tab on creator profile > styling, prompt for posting, editing existing jobs
I worked closely with developers to refine functionality, feasibility, and edge cases, ensuring the experience could scale alongside the community.

The hiring and job board was designed as a flexible discovery space where creatives and employers could meet in a way that felt intuitive, credible, and embedded within the Dissolve Creators ecosystem. A searchable directory of opportunities and talent with filters for categories, budget, and location to quickly find relevant listings.
Job cards were structured to surface the most important information at a glance, including role type, creator expertise, tags, and starting rates. This allowed employers to scan efficiently while giving creatives a clear way to position their skills. Posting flows were simplified so opportunities could be added quickly, reducing friction for hiring teams and encouraging more consistent activity.
